NL: Tell us about Casetrackerlaw.com
CT: Casetrackerlaw is a web-based application designed specifically to streamline and automate the process of debt collection. Casetrackerlaw offers solutions for real estate closing and general litigations as well.
Desktop-based collection software of the 1990’s offered little to network law firms and collection agencies with their clients. Dissatisfied with the existing debt collection technology, Mr. Steed decided to develop a new web-based software package. The software is named www.status123.com and is primarily developed for internal use to make the debt-collection process easier and to provide status updates via Internet. The advances in Internet technology, pervasive broadband connectivity and rise in the use of web applications has let Casetrackerlaw build applications which can network credit managers, collection attorneys and collection agencies.
Clients of status123 became interested in the product and the first version was sold in 2003 to www.aniinternational.com, Chicago, IL. Currently approximately 2,000 corporations and hundreds of law firms have chosen Casetrackerlaw.com as their main product for debt collections needs.
All software upgrades and database backups are completely transparent to the end user since our data center staff handles them. Casetrackerlaw’s on-demand model allows customizations to be transferred when a hosted application is upgraded, overcoming a major reason law firms hesitate to upgrade critical business applications.
For many firms, the attraction of the on-demand application model is more flexibility and less maintenance.
Part of Casetrackerlaw allure is its culture, which places a premium on client relations.

The episode is titled “The Rendezvous” and the walk on “stars” to look for include Danielle Hedlund of Corporate Receivables, Inc., Jill Lacsa of Arrow Financial Services, LLC and Adam Cohen and Howard Enders from Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd.

Regarding the upcoming episode Judy Hammond stated, "It's been overwhelming to experience the generosity of our industry. The annual charity events have raised over $600,000 for Children's Hospitals. On February 19th, we can all watch and be proud of our own industry stars, whose generosity resulted in an appearance on Jim Belushi’s hit, “According to Jim”, on ABC.”
Let’s all tune in and show our support for Jim Belushi, and our winning auction bidders, Adam Cohen, CEO of Philips and Cohen Associates, Ltd. and Bruce Davis, President of Corporate Receivables, Inc., and thank them for their generosity to Children’s Hospital of Orange County and Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, the charities that benefited from the Black Tie Fundraiser.
